A great career opportunity has arisen for a Construction Planner with five years plus experience to join a leading construction consultancy based in Central London. They will join an established business who provide their clients with a range of services which includes project management, planning, construction management, contract administration and dispute management & expert witness.
The Senior Construction Planner will join a team of Planners and be responsible for planning projects throughout their full life-cycle, from inception through to completion. They will be tasked with producing construction programmes for new projects using stage 2 information, advising the client throughout the construction process, assisting the procurement team chose the right form of contract, taking the project through to site and delivery.
They will be involved on a range of high profile projects across the capital, current schemes include a 50 storey residential high rise, £100m high end refurbishment, 40 storey commercial high rise and major mixed use development. The role will be split between home working and the office (60%) and live projects in London (40%).
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years construction planning experience in the UK
- Good range of construction experience gained on across a variety of build sectors
- Hold a construction related qualification - HND / HNC / Degree
- Solid understanding of the construction process and techniques
- Advanced user of Asta Powerproject
- Possess strong communication and client facing skills
- Team player
