Brief
Senior Electrical Engineer needed for a multinational financial organisation based in West Sussex who are looking to employ an enthusiastic and well-rounded Senior Electrical Engineer experienced in undertaking a variety of design associated with a wide range of sectors including: Network Rail, Transmission & Distribution , Consultancy, Power Distribution, Heavy Industry and Renewables.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Senior Electrical Engineer will include:
Power system protection scheme design for connections to grid up to 400kV. Produce protection block diagrams, protection ac and dc schematics and carry out protection coordination studies.
Design of protection scheme includes distance, current, ground, transformer, generator, pilot cable schemes, AVC schemes and DAR schemes.
Carry out various system studies such as G5/4, Load flow, Fault studies and transient studies. Protection coordination studies, multicore interface design, voltage regulation scheme.
Scheme includes transformer, busbar, feeder, G59/3 protection.
What experience you need to be the successful Senior Electrical Engineer:
Experience in the DNOs, TSO and Rail industries.
HV Design Engineer,
Experienced in design across a wide range of sectors including: Experience includes upgrade of SCADA I/O list, AC/DC power modelling and studies, power quality and harmonic studies, HV Power Electrical design both concept and detailed design
