Senior Electrical Engineer - Street Lighting
London
I am currently looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer - Street Lighting on behalf my successful highways and engineering client. This will give you the opportunity to work on major projects across the UK, whilst also offering great scope for career progression and personal growth.
Purpose of the Senior Electrical Engineer - Street Lighting Role:
To deliver highways and street lighting design schemes for various projects across the UK. You will be required to undertake site surveys, lighting and electrical calculations, and produce electrical drawings with AutoCAD. Other duties include estimating and budgeting, carry out risk assessments and preparing detailed / feasibility reports and presentations.
You must have experience in;
Electrical cable design
Proven electrical design experience (ideally street lighting or consultancy)
Lighting Reality and Amtech Software
Experienced used of AutoCAD, MS project and MS office software.
Undertaking lighting impact assessment and feasibility reports
Site Surveys
Competencies:
Degree/HNC in Electrical Engeering or equivalent
Knowledge of lighting standards, 18th edition, BS 5489
ILP / IET membership or working towards (highly advantageous)
Highly IT Competent
Full Driving Licence
Knowledge of CDM regulations
Strong Commercial Focus
Ability to work to tight deadlines, to plan, coordinate and organise a range of activities.
Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet conflicting work demands, targets & deadlines
