I am recruiting for a Senior International Business Manager for a global client based in San Mateo County, California.
This role is hybrid working x3 days in the office and x2 days WFH.
As a Senior International Business Manager you will be responsible for Canada and Australia regions with P&L accountability for both markets.
Your primary focus will be leading the strategic transition from online-only to omni-channel retailing in these regions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and execute additional growth opportunities that drive revenue and profitability.
Reporting to the SVP of International, you'll partner closely with marketing, e-commerce, logistics, wholesale, retail operations, finance, legal, and product teams to enhance brand presence and business performance in these strategic markets. This full-time position is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in-office.

Senior International Business Manager Responsibilities:
Regional Business Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Serve as the business leader for Canada and Australia with full P&L responsibility, ensuring alignment with revenue, margin, and brand goals
- Develop and manage forecasts, budgets, and P&L performance at the regional level, balancing short-term profit targets with long-term growth investments
- Define and track KPIs-including revenue, margin, conversion, CAC, and market penetration-using dashboards and analytics (in partnership with Data Insights and other teams)
- Lead business reviews, surfacing key trends, risks, and opportunities, and delivering clear, insight-driven recommendations
- Drive seasonal pricing and promotional effectiveness through enterprise platforms and strong cross-functional alignment
- Guide direct report(s) and partners by identifying growth opportunities, leveraging strengths, and developing talent for broader organizational impact
Omni-Channel Transformation & Growth Strategy
- Lead the strategic transition from online-only to omni-channel retailing in Canada and Australia, developing and executing go-to-market strategies across digital and wholesale channels
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize growth opportunities within existing markets-including new channel partnerships, marketplaces, and customer segment development
- Drive a robust learning agenda by partnering with Consumer Insights and other data-focused teams, asking incisive business questions that translate customer and market data into actionable insights fueling strategic growth decisions
- Build business cases and lead strategic decisions grounded in data, market insights, and operational readiness
- Represent customer and market needs to influence product, pricing, promotional, and channel decisions across global teams
- Drive cross-functional execution across ecommerce, marketing, logistics, finance, merchandising, legal, and operations to achieve regional and channel-specific goals
Senior International Business Manager Essential Skills:
- 7+ years in international business management, omni-channel retail, and leadership in retail. Experience in e-commerce is a must have
- Proven track record managing and scaling business performance in 2+ international markets, ideally including Canada and/or Australia
- Demonstrated end-to-end P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting experience
- Strong execution experience in omni-channel environments-successfully managing online, retail, and/or wholesale channels
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
- Cross-functional leadership experience partnering with multiple business functions
- Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and business acumen
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability in ambiguous situations, even when data is limited
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
