Senior Machine Learning Engineer
My client is a leading consultancy focussing on data in the cloud and based in the City of London. They are recruiting for a number of Senior Machine Learning Engineers to work on some exciting client projects. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer you will be working very closely with the team which is currently 15 strong and still growing.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be predominantly working from home for the time being, but you will be expected to be in the office in London for 2-3 days per week when they go back!

Senior Machine Learning Engineer Responsibilities:
- Working closely with clients, taking requirements and translating them into well engineered models that solve real-world problems
- Individually and as a team, you will run machine learning experiments using machine learning libraries and various programming skills and languages.
- Optimizing solutions for performance and future scalability.
- Implementing custom, clean machine learning code.
- Data Science, Data Engineering and Analytics
- MLOps - automating Machine Learning workflows to include testing, reproducibility and metadata/feature storage
- Designing Machine Learning architectures on Google Cloud (GCP)
Senior Machine Learning Engineer Essential Skills:
- Multiple years of experience as an Machine Learning Engineer, ideally from a consulting background.
- You should be comfortable working with Python as a primary backend language, delivering code in well-tested CI/CD pipelines.
- Be familiar with cloud environments including GCP, AWS and Azure.
- Software Engineering skills and experience.
- Experienced with SQL.
- Comfortable scaling up computations (GPUs, distributed computing etc).
- Familiarity with exposing Machine Learning components through various web services or wrappers e.g. Flask in Python.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to people at various organisational levels both internally and externally.
