Senior Nuclear Safety Consultants required.
Various UK base locations + Hybrid.
Midlands, Bristol, Bath, Glasgow, Surrey, West Sussex, Brighton, Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester would all be suitable.
£50,000 - £70,000 Base Salary + a generous benefits package that includes a bonus scheme.

This new role is available due to our customers ongoing success delivering Safety Management to a growing client base across the UK, you will be joining a well established group of Safety Consultants with years of experience in this industry.
The role requires a proven background in UK based Safety Engineering within the Nuclear industry, this could be in a civil / power gen or military setting.
Summary details:
- Safety assessment, risk assessment - hazard identification; fault schedules; design basis analysis; probabilistic analysis, safety functional requirements
- Qualification/ substantiation of systems against safety requirements.
- Internal and external hazards assessment.
- Project support for safety case development
- Document writing - safety case authoring or reviewing/verifying.
Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent practical working experience) with an Engineering or relevant scientific area
- Experience of Nuclear and/or process plant in safety-related roles.
- Understanding and experience of the structure and development of safety cases; safety requirements (including those of the UK nuclear regulatory regime) and supporting analyses.
- Working with safety cases for nuclear reactors and related plant.
- Formalised hazard analysis and risk assessment.
- Assessment or qualification of safety-related systems.
- Working within a consultancy environment.
- Involvement in large multi-disciplinary projects.
- Project management appreciation.
