Title: Senior Planning Engineer
Location: Hampshire (Hybrid)
Salary: £70-85,000 per annum + car allowance + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer with a background in civil engineering to join a leading main contractor on a challenging infrastructure project based in Hampshire. The Senior Planning Engineer will take the lead on a £200m major civils scheme which is due for completion in 2029.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be site based 3-4 days with the remainder of the week working remotely. They will play a pivotal role in the project's successful delivery. They will oversee the construction programme in Primavera P6 and ensure it is communicated to the site team.
The Senior Planning Engineer will join a major name in the UK construction industry, a business renowned for their expertise in delivering complex civil engineering projects. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative team working on a high-profile project that will leave a lasting impact on the region.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be required to demonstrate the following skills and experience.
CANDIDATE
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry, with a focus on civils infrastructure projects.
- Hold a construction related qualification - Degree / HNC / HND
- Proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead when necessary.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Good working knowledge of NEC contract
