I have had a fantastic opportunity come through for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with civil engineering and infrastructure experience to join a leading main contractor working on HS2 in Central London. You'll be joining a growing commercial team based near to Euston Station and undertaking the commercial management of a £600m phase of work that includes the excavation of an enormous cavern, access shafts, tunnels and crossover tunnels.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be site based and responsible for the development of a small team of surveyors from Assistant through to Intermediate level. Some of your key duties will include:

• Maximising cash flow
• Providing commercial input
• Ensuring your team meets and exceeds the set KPIs
• Preparing monthly cost reports
• Managing subcontractors
• Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must have:

• Experience with a UK based main contractor
• Experience working on large civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Good NEC knowledge
