Senior Quantity Surveyor - Leading Main Contractor
5-Year Capital Delivery Utilities Framework - Bournemouth
£500 per day (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a long-term, 5-year utilities framework in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to take full end-to-end commercial ownership across a large portfolio of exciting capital delivery projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing all commercial aspects from early cost planning through to final accounts
- Working closely with operations teams to ensure robust commercial governance
- Overseeing subcontract procurement, payments, change management and reporting
- Supporting the framework's commercial strategy and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
What we're looking for:
- Strong UK utilities sector experience (water, power, gas or similar)
- Proven track record in commercial management on main contractor-side projects
- Experience with the NEC suite of contracts
- Ability to commute to Bournemouth on a regular basis (local candidates preferred)
- Comfortable working inside IR35 through an umbrella company
