Brief
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a world-renowned organisation who develop and manufacture oncology products. Senior Software Engineers are responsible for developing AQUA - a software platform that centralizes all the end-to-end machine quality assurance activities for radiation therapy at radiation oncology departments in hospitals and clinics.
It is desirable for the successful candidate to have a relevant Degree in Engineering, or another relevant discipline, and have a keen interest in being a Senior Software Engineer. If you have previous commercial experience as a Senior Software Engineer that would be a plus!
Role Responsibilities
Some of the main duties of the Senior Software Engineer will include:
- Collaborate with other software developers, physicists, product and project managers, and verification & validation professionals, contributing to the product as part of larger software and hardware solutions.
- Effectively communicate with different stakeholders and be an advocate in driving a quality mindset
What experience you need to be the successful Senior Software Engineer:
- Educated to Degree level in Engineering (or equivalent).
- Full stack development using Java, .NET platform (C#, .NET Core)
- Front end: JavaScript, WPF, Angular, CSS, HTML
- Relational database: SQL
- Experience of CI/CD
- Understanding and experience of Agile
- Knowledge and understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques.
- Understanding and experience of the overall SDLC for application development
- OO design principles, data structures and database concepts
