Title: Senior Tender Planner
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £70-90,000 + car allowance + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tender Planner to join a leading main contractor in Birmingham, taking on a key role within their established pre-construction team.
As the Senior Tender Planner, you will be responsible for producing competitive tender programmes using Asta Powerproject, supporting a diverse pipeline of bids across major building sectors. You will work closely with estimators, bid managers, designers, and operational teams to develop sequencing, methodologies, logistic strategies, and submission plans that strengthen the contractor's position and help secure new work.
Bringing a strong main contracting background, excellent understanding of construction techniques, and a proven track record in pre-construction and tender planning, you will play a key role in shaping bid strategies and influencing early project decision-making. Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality tender programmes for multiple concurrent bids
- Analyse drawings, specifications and project information to inform planning outputs
- Work closely with the pre-construction team to develop build strategies and methodologies
- Identify programme risks, opportunities and potential efficiencies
- Present planning outputs to internal stakeholders and external clients as required
- Support continuous improvement within the planning and pre-construction function
About You
- Proven experience in tender planning / pre-construction planning
- Expert-level proficiency in Asta Powerproject
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
- The capability to work in a fast-paced bidding environment
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive, detail-driven approach
- Solid understanding of construction processes and techniques
- Derived from a UK main contractor.

- £70-90,000 per annum
