Software Engineer needed for a multinational Technology Organisation based in Bristol who are looking to employ an experienced Software Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of C, C++ & C# programming languages and PCBs.

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Software Engineer will include:
* Writing JTAG boundary scan software (XJTAG) for PCB verification of manufacturing and test.
* Writing Python script for automated product regression testing.
* Helping to develop test plans/strategies for future designs, promoting "Design for Test".
* Maintenance of test records and test equipment at contract manufacturers.
* Assist debugging and diagnosing of faults on PCBs.
* Writing test applications using other languages such as C, C++, C# and LabVIEW as appropriate.
* Assist with component and product calibration & test during peak times.
What you need to be the successful Software Engineer:
In order to be the successful Software Engineer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
* Proficiency in the C or C++ programming language
* A good understanding of the principles of analogue & digital circuit design
* Strong analytical skills
* Good communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to understand complex optoelectronic systems
* Soldering and electronics prototyping
* Driving licence would be useful
Must be eligible for Security Clearance! (British Passport only)
