Job Description: Supply Chain Specialist for E7 Fixed Wing Modification Programme

Looking for highly skilled, pro-active and motivated Supply Chain Specialist to join a small team to support the Production Supplier on-site at the modification location. The modification programme is expected to take up to 5 years to complete.


The supply chain element requires a suitably experienced Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for the day to day onsite management of all Supply Chain activities acting as the key interface between us and the Production Supplier. (Who will be providing all on site Supply Chain / Warehousing touch Labour).

Overall responsibilities of the Supply Chain Specialist include but not exhaustive to:

* Responsible to the Supply Chain Manager and on-site programme lead to ensure the full accountability and movement of all material in support of the modification programme.
* Act as the onsite focal interfacing with the Production Suppliers Supply Chain management team to insure they correctly and strictly adhering to the agreed and contracted Supply Chain management processes for the receipting, accounting and issuing of all spares and full accountability is maintained for all owned assets within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
* Responsible for resolving daily Supply Chain related non-conformities & problems reported by the MRO SCM
Team including but not exhaustive: Delivery Shortages, Incorrect items delivered, Damaged Parts, Kits shipped with shortages etc.
* Responsible for reporting to ASC2 and Supplier Management of all non-conformities & shortages supplied/delivered e.g. Mod kits, Tooling, GSE, AGS Rotor-bin, and LRU's. To ensure replacements parts can be supplied to ensure A/C schedule adherence.
* Required to maintain a close liaison with the respective ASC2, SCM Programme Managers and contribute to Programme Management Meetings (PMMs) as required.
* Work with Global Trades & Controls (GTC) and E7 Import/Export focal to collate all Inward Processing (IP) reports for submission to HMRC to ensure full compliance. Reporting any discrepancies found on receipt to ensure that full corrective compliance actions can be carried out.
* Act as the onsite focal to co-ordinate / expedite parts being removed from Aircraft that require to be dispositioned back into the Supply Chain in accordance with the E7 Modification disposal plan inclusive but not exhaustive to:
o Engines and other items for re-cycle.
o Fan cowlings and other major components shipped for Mods at the OEM.
o Components removed from Aircraft subject to re-sale into the commercial market.
o Manage/document the scrapping of agreed parts as they are removed from the Aircraft to ensure our IP compliance requirement are fully executed.
* Team focal for parts or components that need returning to ASC2 or suppliers due to failures or repairable damage.
* Ensure safe custody of owned equipment is maintained at point of use and whilst stored within the Production Suppliers Storage facility.
* Ensure all dangerous goods and environmental legislation requirements are met are being adhered at the Production Suppliers Facility.
* Provide appropriate supply chain data in support of Programme metrics or Key Performance Indicators as required by the respective Programme Manager.
* Work with the Supply Chain Manager to create a robust set of Processes and Desk top instructions to support this new and dynamic programme.
* Adopt, Identify and participate Continuous Improvement activities to drive forward improvement opportunities that contribute to efficiency savings and cost benefits to the programme.
* Execute Supply Chain Management Best Practices and whilst adopting a First Time Quality mentality during the completion of all assigned work.
* Efficiently prioritize all tasks and work to best support the business needs, whilst utilizing innovative measures and ideas to solve day-to-day on-site supply chain problems.
* Work with the Production Suppliers Quality teams to resolve all grief and quarantined non-compliance issues to a successful conclusion. Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met.
* Attend or host any meetings deemed necessary for the management of your assigned work & duties. Travel to external meetings with suppliers, customers required and approved by the Supply Chain Manager.

Competencies
* Possess an in-depth knowledge of supply chain accounting functions to successfully resolve any problems that arise.
* A working knowledge of Import / Export Customs Regulations.
* Have a good understanding of root cause analysis techniques to identify solutions and corrective plans as required.
* Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously within a team with a minimal amount of supervision.
* A thorough knowledge of Health and Safety disciplines associated with warehouse operations.
* Possess a working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications (Word. Excel and PowerPoint). Competent user of all Microsoft Office applications.
