Our Project/Systems Engineering function plays a pivotal role in ensuring project success, meeting statutory requirements, and enhancing systems design effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate, understand, and review user requirements using DOORS, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Perform in-depth requirement analysis and meticulously flow down requirements to system and sub-system levels.
- Contribute to the delivery of engineering tasks within projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Employ structured plans, processes, and procedures, including work packages, to facilitate the achievement of project milestones.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain complete traceability of specifications, designs, and acceptance information.
- Provide clear and concise progress reports to team leaders.
- Actively participate in project teams, taking on systems engineering tasks as required.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering
- Familiarity with the Nuclear Domain (desirable)
- Track record of effective collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in formal system design methodologies (SysML or equivalent)
- Proficiency in requirements management using DOORS or a similar tool (v9+)
- Strong grasp of system engineering principles
- Knowledge of the entire System Engineering lifecycle process
- Expertise in requirements definition and management
- Involvement in Integration, Verification, and Validation activities, including Test Conduct and Reporting
