Engineering Lead (Electrical & Automation) needed for a multinational maritime organisation based in Hampshire who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Engineering Lead (Electrical & Automation) that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of development using marine electrical; power, propulsion and control systems to develop marine vessels. If you have previously assessed, deployed or developed a team in the past, we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate would desirably have a relevant degree - i.e., Electrical Engineering and have a keen interest in Naval Platforms If you have strong IT skills that would be a plus!

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Engineering Lead (Electrical & Automation) will include:
Analysing, defining, evaluating, planning and delivering the power and control system solution for the T45 PIP to meet programme, business and customer requirements
Applying engineering expertise relating to the power and control system engineering activities, to support the embodiment, trials and acceptance of the T45 PIP P&P system solution
Ensuring defined project cost and schedule objectives are achieved whilst continually maintaining quality and other performance requirements
What experience you need to be the successful Engineering Lead (Electrical & Automation):
Degree qualified Chartered electrical engineer or equivalent experience
Subject matter expert in Marine electrical power, propulsion and control systems
Experience of acting as the Technical Authority for the electrical scope of work to ensure the design integrity and safety of the power and propulsion system
A sound understanding of being able to resolve complex specialist problems
