Job Title: Technical Services Supervisor
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Per Annum

As a Technical Services Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the optimal functioning of maintenance, repairs, and ongoing upkeep of mechanical and electrical services, plant, equipment, and associated systems. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in achieving and maintaining high-quality standards in line with Project Agreements. Additionally, your leadership will be integral in achieving performance targets and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Lead and motivate the Maintenance Team to deliver exceptional service quality and meet service requirements.
- Manage and supervise responsive and planned maintenance, both through in-house teams and external contractors.
- Actively participate in Safety First initiatives by conducting regular toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and incident/accident prevention efforts.
- Utilize the MAXIMO CAFM system and collaborate with the Helpdesk to manage reactive and preventative maintenance tasks. Coordinate daily reactive and proactive maintenance activities.
- Regularly assess the performance of directly employed labour and subcontractors, contributing to performance evaluation processes.
- Requisition materials, services, and transportation as needed. Maintain optimal stock levels for efficient response to maintenance issues.
- Conduct routine site visits to monitor task progress, task completion, and labour performance.
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance staff when required, offering solutions to challenges and fostering a learning environment.
- Evaluate training for trade staff, assess competency, and be open to personal development in alignment with evolving service needs.
- Cultivate positive relationships to enhance the perception of service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Head of Technical Operations Manager/Contract Manager to generate management reports and analyses.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Technical Services Supervisor role, particularly within maintenance coordination and leadership.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical services, systems, and plant equipment.
- Proficiency in overseeing reactive and planned maintenance, utilizing tools such as the MAXIMO CAFM system.
- Exceptional leadership skills, able to motivate and guide teams toward excellence.
- Commitment to safety protocols and proactive safety initiatives.
- Effective communication skills for conducting toolbox talks and interacting with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage resources efficiently and requisition materials as needed.
