Telecoms Engineer - Fiber

The Telecom Engineers (Product manager function) within the Connectivity department are responsible for the operational management of passive telecom infrastructure. Examples include fiber optic cables, copper cables, manipulation points, customer cabinets and customer connections / services.

Provide standardized products & services and ensure their maintenance (management). In addition, it provides knowledge and operational capacity for innovation (projects), non-standard products and services.

Primary responsibilities:

Assessing changes

Answering requests

Drawing up requirements for the passive telecom infrastructure

Monitoring and improving the quality of the passive telecom infrastructure

Managing and supporting the ITA before and during activities

Management of the registration and implementation system Cocon

Job requirements:

You can independently engineer fiber optic infrastructure and connections and monitor the quality.

To be able to perform this function properly, you should also bring the following:

Min. completed MBO4 training

From 3 years of experience as a Fiber Engineer;

Knowledge of and experience with Cocon Muteer is essential;

Knowledge of Autocad.

Cocoon certificate is an advantage.
