An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Tender Planner to join a leading fit out contractor based in London. They will join a dynamic business renowned for delivering high quality projects.
The Tender Planner will play a key role within their busy pre-construction team. They will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing tender programmes for a variety of fit-out projects covering a range of sectors including commercial, residential, retail and hospitality to name a few which are valued at between £1-40m. The Tender Planner will utilize their expertise to ensure that the bids are competitive and aligned with client expectations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed tender programmes using Asta Powerproject
- Collaborate with the pre-construction team to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to create accurate and realistic timelines.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within the tender programmes.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of tender presentations and documentation.
- Review and refine tender programmes based on feedback from internal stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure all tender submissions comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Support the handover process from tender to project teams upon successful bid award.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tender Planner, ideally within the fit-out or construction industry.
- Proficiency in planning software Asta Powerproject
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
