Test Team Lead - Automation

Test Team lead urgnetly required for Test automation of the core video functionality platform, which currently is
deployed across multiple European countries.

Your duties as Test Team Lead on the Automation project

Help the Video Headend team automate the testing of the whole video infrastructure (e.g.
transcoders, encoders, packagers, storage, etc.)
Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the strategic delivery of video headend solutions and which are
following stated quality requirements and specified timelines.
Supervises testing of solutions incorporating architectural/development guidelines, quality
standards/principles.
Enhance the Tooling and automation team and help build scalable and efficient automation
frameworks that enable the Video Headend team across the various domains to automate
and perform their functional and non-functional testing.
Deliver an end-to-end integrated test tooling portfolio, through internal development or by
driving the integration of 3rd party solutions, that achieve maximum efficiency, adoption,
and reliability.
Support the various stakeholders in selecting the best fit for purpose testing tools, in line
with the industry standards.
Support the environment teams in delivering services to stakeholders by automating the
environments and activities wherever possible. Translate the "Labs as a Service" philosophy
into a technical solution with a focus on scalability and the long-term vision.
Participate in the definition of the project scope by assessing the impact on architecture,
reliability, effort, quality, cost, and risks based on information from early stages of the
project life cycle (requirements analysis, solution design)

Required skills for the Test Team Lead role
Previous experience with resource and team management in a testing environment
Excellent ability to build a strong team environment
Strong communication skills (Be able to speak with the customer, specify some tasks, work
in cooperation with the team on customer side)
Strong background in software engineering in testing discipline (preferrable with Python)
Solid technical background
Experience with Git & Jenkins
Experience with UNIX / Shell
Team player in a cross-functional team, good communicator, driven and committed
English of Intermediate level and higher (B1+)
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Experience in the video domain is a plus
