Description:

To ensure the overall effective financial management and reporting for my client, and actively contribute towards the financial planning and strategic growth of the organization as a key member of the UK Board and Legal Entity Team.

Responsibilities:

• Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems.
• Board member for the 3 UK Companies.
• Full UK Directorship, registered at Companies House, with all the associated legal responsibilities of being a Company Director.
• Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) for my client's 3 UK companies.
• Manage and improve the UK companies governance and compliance with respect to accounting and tax supporting the responsibilities as SAO.
• Work with senior teams to grow the businesses formulating strategies and plans.
• Be a finance business partner for the UK and global functions.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of monthly and quarterly Group reporting.
• Deliver shareholder value through maximizing benefits of all available taxation allowances.
• Work closely with the EBS finance team to drive process control and efficiency.
• Key member of the legal entity internal controls team.
• Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.
• Participate in Group wide projects relating to accounting and reporting.
• Manage the external audit and relationship with the auditors of my client.

Required skills and experience:

• Qualified member of one of the professional accountancy bodies (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA)
• A background in financial reporting and reporting systems in an International company environment is essential
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels
• Strong IT skills, always ahead of new technologies
• Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision making
