The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative?

  • Receive deliveries, check goods for accuracy, and book them into the system.
  • Create labels for packages and move them to the next step.
  • Scan documents into the system to maintain records.
  • Inform recipients of incoming goods and ensure they are collected.
  • Pick orders and pass parts to production according to schedule.
  • Perform daily inventory counts and submit adjustments as needed.
  • Liaise with the stores lead to manage offsite stock.
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the stores area.
  • Pack deliveries and shipments to specified standards.
  • Deal with queries from various departments related to stores.
  • Work cross-functionally between sites as needed.
  • Perform daily checks on forklift equipment and document findings.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.

What are we looking for in our next Warehouse Operative?

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
  • Proficiency in stock counting and numerical skills.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
  • Forklift license preferred.
  • Full UK driver's license required.
