Brief
2D Multimedia Developer needed for a major multinational organisation based in Bristol who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded 2D Multimedia Developer to provide specialist courseware design and development services.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the 2D Multimedia Developer will include:
- Conducting analysis to evaluate customer technical training multimedia needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives and media design methodologies.
- Designing, developing and evaluating engaging custom technical multimedia training materials collaborating closely with instructional designers and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure highly technical and complex content is targeted to the needs of the audience.
- Providing multimedia training services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies and processes embracing first time quality as a way of life.
- Identifying and correcting conditions and behaviours that affect employee, public and customer safety; upholding safety standards; demonstrating proactive safety culture leadership.
- Gathering data to support with proposals and assisting with the preparation and presentation of reports regarding the development, implementation and evaluation of training projects and curricula.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing others and providing instruction and guidance in the performance of multimedia design principles, methodologies and tasks.
- Discovering new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking to determine new multimedia strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional systems design, development and delivery for internal and external customers.
What experience you need to be the successful 2D Multimedia Developer:
- Providing design options and producing complex graphics, animations and interactive multimedia design solutions.
- Web development and scripting languages including HTML5/CSS/XML and Javascript.
- Proficient with the adobe creative cloud suite, specifically Adobe Animate, Photoshop and illustrator.
- Additionally knowledge and experience of User Interface design, along with experience using Unreal Engine v4 or Autodesk 3ds Max would advantageous.
