My client, a leading UK main contractor are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to assist with a healthcare project based in Leicester. The project is valued at circa £20 million and is expected to run for approximately 18 months, with potential for other Leicester-based projects thereafter.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of building construction experience as an assistant quantity surveyor, with a focus on commercial projects. A degree in a related field is preferred, although completion or progress towards a degree is acceptable.

They are committed to supporting the growth and development of the team members and offer opportunities for career advancement within the business. The successful candidate will work with a team of 6, including a Senior QS, Project Manager, Site Manager, and 3 production staff.

Requirements

• Experience within a similar role in a building/commercial environment
• Relevant degree or degree in progress
• UK construction experience
