Brief
Associate Director needed to join an award-winning and multi-disciplinary design and engineering organization, who provide expert and sustainable services for local authority and private sector clients, to come on board and join the team across London, East Sussex, Kent. As an Associate Director, you will lead commissions and help to grow and develop our South Region design team, whilst ensuring we exceed our clients' expectations.
It's desirable for the successful candidate to be degree educated in Landscape Architeture and/or Urban Design, be chartered or working towards, and have a minimum of 14 years of experience in Landscape & Urban Design.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Associate Director will include:
- Develop and grow the design team to deliver award winning designs.
- Assist in bidding, adding value to the business and establish long term relationships with existing and new clients.
- Programme and financial control are key requirements of role, making sure to contribute towards the direction of the business, in order to help achieve our goals and objectives.
- Strong design ethos with delivery experience in regeneration and public realm in the UK
- Manage and deliver multi-disciplinary commissions.
- Ensure commissions are delivered on time and within budget and that the liaison with clients and business contacts is exceptional.
- Provide analysis, advice and support to resolve issues and enhance business and operational performance.
What experience you need to be the successful Associate Director:
- Degree in Landscape Architecture and/or Urban Design
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
- Strong multidisciplinary knowledge (Engineering, Traffic, Lighting, etc.)
- Wide range of skills and projects including town centre regeneration, streetscape, green infrastructure and parks.
