Avionics Technician
Location: Stockbridge (on-site)
Duration: 6 months (likely to extend)
Mon-Thurs 0700-1530
Fri 0700-1230
We have a fantastic new contract that has opened up for an Avionics Technician who will become a part of the mission system cabinet build team. This is for a leading defence and Aerospace organisation. The production team are building mission system cabinets. The Cabinets house mission system line replaceable units and associated wiring for Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft.
What the roles entail for an Avionics Technician:
will be working in a workshop environment in a small but dedicated team building mission system cabinets avionics tasks include:
- Installation of premade wiring harnesses to wiring specification.
- Final connections and terminations.
- Installation and bonding of panels and components
- Support to airflow testing
What experience you need to be the successful applicant:
- Build and modification experience.
- Experienced in wiring installation and termination.
- Expected experience and training in EWIS.
- Ideally you will have proven experience working on aircrafts but this is not essential.
