The Client
Is an exciting venture capital backed company which has developed and entirely new class of IVD, a molecular test which does not require additional instruments. It is easy to use in any setting and will provide wide spread decentralised testing by way of a nasal swab and provide rapid results for the detection of COVID19.
The Role
A highly motivated biomolecular engineerwill have the opportunity to be involved from the start in this exciting new project and with a dynamic start up and will perform a crucial role as part of the molecular discovery team in a multidisciplinary environment, discovering and developing technical solutions that enable improved point-of-care diagnostic products.
The Candidate
Candidates are expected to have an undergraduate degree relevant to the role, such as biomolecular engineering, molecular bioengineering or biomedical engineering. Experiencing in biosensors and/or electrochemistry and/or bioelectronics would be a strong advantage. The role offers significant opportunities for growth and development of both laboratory and personal attributes.
