A fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager has arisen with a busy, regional main contractor at their offices in Sussex. The opportunity promises exposure to some really exciting projects including churches and offices through to shops, storage facilities and training centres, many of which are listed buildings for clients including the National Trust, English Heritage and The Landmark Trust. Project values range from £1m to £8m with duration's from 3 months to 2 years.

The Contracts Manager will be joining the businesses management team and taking responsibility for 2-4 projects, each with their own site based delivery team. You'll ultimately be responsible for the sound delivery of the project, working closely with the design team and architects and overseeing the project through construction and handover back to the client.

Contracts Managers considering this opportunity will need to have previous experience in construction management and ideally have come from a joinery or general building background. You'll need excellent communication skills, confident using a number of different computer packages and willing to travel to projects across Sussex.
