Design Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager with Fit Out experience to join a leading name in the construction industry, a dynamic business who have an enviable reputation for their expertise in delivering complex construction projects across the UK.

The Design Manager will join the busy Major Projects division of a leading main contractor based in Central London. They will take full responsibility for the design co-ordination of large commercial fit out schemes across the Capital which are valued between £10-50m. The Design Manager will support the construction team in the resolution of design related issues, they will audit the designs and identify inconsistencies, manage the production and control of the design programme and reporting against it and chairing design workshops.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong understanding and knowledge of the design and construction process, a solid track record of the refurbishment and fit out industry and experience on projects valued £10m plus.
