Job Description:
You will primarily work at our state-of-the-art factory in Kent, collaborating with a talented group of engineers. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from electrical control cabinet assembly to system wiring and mechanical tasks. You will also contribute to modifying existing machinery and enhancing safety systems to ensure our operations remain at the forefront of industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Electrical Control Cabinets: Construct electrical control cabinets from component level, ensuring precision and functionality.
- Electrical and Mechanical Assembly: Expertly build and wire systems, both electrically and mechanically, to integrate cutting-edge technology into our equipment.
- Machine Modifications: Carry out modifications to existing machines to enhance performance and meet evolving requirements.
- Safety System Installation: Install new safety systems or upgrade existing ones, ensuring the highest standards of safety are maintained.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with your fellow engineers on all projects, supporting the full project life-cycle from sale through to delivery.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Good understanding of industrial electrical principles, including high current power circuits and low voltage control circuits.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs.
- Basic mechanical knowledge, including pneumatics.
- Dedication to maintaining safe working practices.
