Contract Embedded Software Designer - Space Systems Projects

My client develops scientific experiments and Satellites for Space. They are currently looking to strengthen the team with an Embeded Software Dessigner.

Your role:
You are responsible for the embedded software development within the framework of a satellite equipment. Starting from the software requirements, you design the software and the code according to the requirements and specifications. You make sure that the flight software code adheres to MISRA-C coding rules. You assure by means of unit, integration and validation tests that the performance will be met in all cases. You participate to the equipment level functional and performance test campaigns and make sure the software design and test results are properly documented.

Your skills:

You have a master degree in software engineering or computer science or similar by experience.

The ideal candidate would be a multidisciplinary, pro-active, creative, enthusiastic and result-oriented team player with strong planning, organizational and communication skills.

Showing affinity with (micro) electronics is a must.

Possessing experience with ESA practices & standards ECSS-E-40/Q-80, hands-on design, development & testing and embedded computer platforms is an obvious asset.

Fluency in English is an absolute must.
