The Role:

So, what will you be doing as an Engineering Manager?

• Define and describe Technical Solutions during bids or project scope changes.
• Manage project mobilization, resource allocation, and work-package agreements.
• Plan and oversee engineering activities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate engineering risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve resource conflicts and meet customer needs.
• Mentor and coach engineers, facilitating continuous improvement.
• Lead technical and design reviews, ensuring robust solutions.
• Drive the enhancement of the Engineering function and supporting roles.

What are we looking for in our next Engineering Manager?

• A higher diploma or bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Maritime domain experience and ability to acquire security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects, delivering to Defence customers.
• Proficiency in managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex solutions.
• Experience in requirement and acceptance activities leading to contract sign-off.
• Technical management of subcontractors and integration/validation activities.
• Knowledge of System Engineering lifecycles and interdisciplinary team management.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
