£38,000 to £46,000 + package (incl. working from home)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Advisor to join a leading main contractor delivering a high profile, high value infrastructure project in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Environmental Advisor to work on a secured project for an industry leading name.
The Environmental Advisor will quickly become a key member of the Environment & Sustainability Team and supporting the construction and handover phases of the Main Works Civils Contract. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the client and JV partners Environment & Sustainability policies and processes
- Provide compliance advice to various teams including construction, procurement and subcontractors
- Identify areas for training and upskilling
- Identify and communicate all environmental and sustainability risks and mitigation's
- Drive awareness for and the delivery against contract targets
- Ensure all works are in line with the Environmental Management Systems
- Undertake the required inspections and audits

Environmental Advisors considering this position will need to have previously worked within the UK's construction sector, ideally on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects. You'll need excellent communication skills and a sound understanding of the various policies and legislation.
