Financial Controller, London
£80,000 - £90,000 + Bonus, Health Care, Pension, WFH
We are working with a London based real estate investment firm who are actively looking to appoint a Financial Controller with circa 5 years post qualified experience who will play a key role in overseeing UK and European finance functions.
This is an extremely varied role requiring excellent organisational skills and a 'can do' attitude. The role requires the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously, work at pace when required, technical skill base and focus on the detail.
Responsibilities as a Financial Controller:
- Review and monitoring of cash flow operational models; provision of reporting and analysis to clients.
- Monitoring of tax return, structure and filing requirements for SPVs.
- Review of quarterly and annual management accounts for real estate SPVs (prepared by outsourced service providers).
- Assist asset management team in management of assets, reforecasts and refinances.
- Assistance with closing of new acquisitions on United Kingdom and European assets.
- Assist with cross border tax analysis and structuring of new acquisitions.
- Day to day management of relationship with outsourced service providers.
- Assistance with reporting to banks and investors.
- Assist/prepare management accounts, corporate consolidations and analysis for board pack.
- Management of part qualified accountant(s) in house.
What we are looking for:
- 5 years PQE (ACCA/ACA) with experience in the property industry.
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, preferably to macro.
- Knowledge of offshore trusts and corporate structures.
- Experience of Xero accounting package.
