The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a FPGA Engineer?
- Responsible to Technical Lead for software and firmware design, development and related firmware engineering activities.
- Implement design blocks and DSP algorithms for FPGA (Xilinx) structures.
- Adherence to relevant coding standards.
- Production of written documentation of technical work in accordance with project requirements.
What are we looking for in our next FPGA Engineer?
- Degree in a computer science, engineering or maths subject or demonstrable experience
- Design with architecting and implementing Digital Signal Processing systems, Functions and FPGA design experience using VHDL
- FPGA design experience with synthesis, timing analysis and verification.
- Experience with Modelsim, MATLAB/Simulink, Xilinx Vivado, and Git development tools.
- Detailed knowledge of implementing DSP design structures, e.g., Filters, FFTs.
