Front End Web Developer

If you are experienced working on Front End Developments, with a track record of managing large-scale projects with experience working with JavaScript frameworks and libraries then I have an ideal position for you.

Currently working with a software business in the West Sussex area that are seeking a Front-End Developer to join the business to drive the front-end development strategy and have responsibility for the design and implementation of front-end features.

The role:

• Responsible for shaping the front-end development strategy
• Mentoring and developing junior front-end development staff
• Full software lifecycle involvement to enhance the front-end aspects of the business web application, e.g. designing, coding and maintaining client-side JavaScript (plain, React, etc.), CSS and HTML
• Full participation in Agile software development activities

Skills Required

• Extensive knowledge of plain JavaScript, React JS, CSS and HTML
• Knowledge of UI libraries and how to implement them
• Exceptional knowledge of modern web development frameworks
• 5+ years' commercial experience developing front ends for web-based applications
• Good English communication skills, verbal and written
