Highway Engineer needed for a well-established construction organisation based in the Croydon area who are looking to employ an experienced and qualified Highway Engineer to join a growing and experienced highways team working on exciting and high-profile highway projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to deliver highway and transportation schemes for both private and public sector clients.
Working for us as a Highway Engineer:
We offer specialist design services to several high-profile clients across London and the South East. We are a small, yet diverse team covering urban realm, private developer, HVM and maintenance schemes. As a division, we are constantly looking to improve our offer to our clients. We are involved in new initiatives including the design and production of new surfacing materials through to using A.I. to undertake highway inspection.
What experience you need to be a successful Highway Engineer:
- Highways sector knowledge and experience
- Degree qualified with a BEng / BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Working towards Incorporation or Chartership status with a relevant professional body
- Experience of designing new development related projects, particularly technical aspects of highways adoption issues, S38 and S278 and urban realm design
- Strong communications skills
- Working knowledge of Civils 3D
