We are working on behalf of a successful and highly respected Consultancy that has offices all across the UK and works on major Engineering projects in the Defence, Rail, Aerospace, Nuclear and Automotive sectors.
They are recruiting now in order to build on their successes and to continue the highly successful growth of the established Human Factors and Training part of the business. This position will require you to provide strong leadership, strategic vision and operational direction to take this team to even higher successes.
Working with various different project teams, you will be operating at the Supervisor and/or Project Manager level. You will be delivering Human Factors and Training resources as part of multidisciplinary projects undertaken by internal Systems Engineering teams.
This position is ideally suited to somebody with a breadth of technical knowledge. Experience of integrating Human Factors and Training within other engineering and project related services would be highly beneficial.
A degree level education in science or engineering (Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology,) along with related experience in a consultancy role.
Chartered status with a recognized institution (or proven equivalent experience).
Ability to manage projects from a technical and commercial perspective and give direction to others as to how to complete defined tasks and monitor their performance against project requirements.
Ability to author and review complex technical deliverables.
Ability to identify and support business development opportunities resulting in the preparation of estimates, proposals, budgets and documentation.
Provide an overall vision and strategy for the Human Factors and Training Group.
