Information Security Analyst needed for a leading organisation based in Horsham, West Sussex, who are looking to employ an experienced Info Sec Analyst with knowledge of Information security, risk identification & management, Security Risk assessments, and Security technologies

Some of the main duties of the Information Security Analyst will include:

* You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to the business on minimising the impact of potential threats to the network or assets
* Working with project managers and solution architects and advising on security throughout the lifecycle of projects and liaising with potential or current suppliers to evaluate their information security levels
* Perform due diligence assessments
* Function as a technical consultant conducting security risk assessments for all IT environment, systems, products or services
* Act as a knowledge bridge between the business line and Information Security for identified 3rd party / Application risk findings, ensuring timely action for any risk assessment recommendations
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of a standard due diligence assessment and framework based upon compliance with industry standards, global regulations and privacy laws for assessing third-party service providers
* Create or update customer-facing information security documentation including product security, architecture brochures or data flow diagrams.

In order to be the successful Information Security Analyst and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

* Minimum 2 years of information security experience related to third-party risk
* Experience in risk identification and management
* Hands on experience with Security technologies.
* Experience reviewing IT and Security Architecture.
* Knowledge of IT Networking and Infrastructure.
* Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.

The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications That Will Help

* Knowledge of SABSA, NIST, COBIT , ISO27001 (training or certification in this area would
beparticularly advantageous)
* CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP or similar certification
