An exciting opportunity has arisen for an intermediate level Planning Engineer who has 4 plus year experience to join a leading international construction consultancy based in Central London.
Due to a substantial growth in their workloads they are looking to bolster their team with a Planning Engineer who understands modern construction techniques and processes and who is capable of building a programme from first principles.
The Planning Engineer will join a team of 12 who are involved on a wide range of exciting projects, high profile schemes which includes data centres, major highways and rail infrastructure schemes, science laboratories, waste to energy plants, major mixed use developments - the scope of projects they are involved on will provide the Planning Engineer with varied workload and exposure to a range of sectors.
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for constructability reviews and supporting the design teams on projects that are usually at the early design phase.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of four years planning experience
- Previous experience working within a consultancy environment
- Ability to build a programme from first principles
- Solid understanding of construction process and techniques
- Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 planning software
- Strong client facing skills
- Possess excellent communication skills
