Brief

IT Technician needed for a highly respected and reputable aerospace organisation based in Gosport who are looking to employ a confident and professional IT Technician to support end users locally and remotely via remote access tools.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the IT Technician will include:

• Deploy, Install and Provide IT support to a variety of laptops/desktops and supporting peripherals.
• Liaise with 3rd line IT teams for additional support of servers, network equipment, voice and video hardware and mobile devices.
• Respond to IT incidents, perform incident resolution or, when needed, escalation to the appropriate group.
• Support software installations.
• Maintain security and policy compliance while performing technical tasks.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge articles, procedures & process definitions.
• Support emergency or periodically planned information systems administration tasks, maintenance/upgrades and configuration changes.
• Contribute to our IT projects as needed and as coordinated by the assigned project manager/IT Business partner.

What experience you need to be a successful IT Technician:

• Drivers Licence
• 2nd line support experience (5 years)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Windows, Office, Microsoft, Dell
