The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Junior Project Manager?

• Work closely with our engineering and project teams to ensure excellent outcomes are achieved through seamless collaboration.
• Contribute your valuable insights in both internal and external meetings to help shape the future direction of our business.
• Keep meticulous and well-organized documentation in line with our local operating procedures.
• Engage with customers to address their needs and provide updates on current orders and projects.
• Liasing with Customers and Clients on a regular basis.
• Dealing with Aftermarket, Spares, repairs, parts, and quotation.

What are we looking for in our next Junior Project Manager?

Essential:

• Demonstrates a collaborative and supportive mindset, thriving in team environments.
• Proficient in MS Office suite, enabling excellence across various tasks.
• Exhibits a rapid learning ability with a flexible engineering approach, adept at addressing diverse challenges.
• Approaches work with precision, diligence, and methodical care within a customer-centric team.
• Familiarity with In-Service Support (spares, repairs, tasking).
• Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines and in high-pressure scenarios.
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Aftermarket support, dealing with quotations, orders of spares and repairs and parts.
• Strong customer facing experience and dealing with Client side of the business.

Desirable:

• Ideally holds APM certification or equivalent.
• Understanding of procedures for handling UK protectively marked material.
• Experience in managing projects for the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
• Familiarity with IFS or similar systems.
• Demonstrates proficiency in independently planning and organizing work under broader directives.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including with suppliers and customers.
• Displays eagerness to learn from this unique opportunity, contributing to business support and personal growth.
