An opportunity for an M&E Quantity Surveyor has arisen with an established building services contractor in Central London. Established for nearly 20 years and with yearly revenues of more than £100m, they provide both mechanical & electrical services to a variety of new build and major refurbishment projects across Central & Greater London. Some recent projects have included high rise, high specification residential apartments, new build mixed use developments, CAT A office space, onsite energy centres and more.

The M&E Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of mechanical & electrical installations on a number of upcoming projects in Central London. Some of your duties will include:

• Assisting in carrying out monthly valuations
• Prepare and monitor project cash flow
• Contract Administration
• Agreement of subcontract & supplier accounts
• Cost reporting
• Value engineering

M&E Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have experience working on residential new build projects, ideally for a large M&E subcontractor or the building services arm of a main contractor. You'll need to have excellent communication skills and confident working both as part of a team or under your own guidance.
