Maintenance Workshop Engineer needed for a market leading Aerospace organisation based in Bedford who are looking to employ an experienced Maintenance Workshop Engineer who will:
Support projects through manufacture and build of items as per Design Organisation drawings
Assist with general duties associated with maintaining the facilities, hangar and ground support equipment
Assist the Engineering & Operations Manager with general day to day operations within the workshop. Follow procedures, processes and standards in the aircraft engineering hangar and workshop environments
What you need to be the successful Maintenance Workshop Engineer:
In order to be the successful Maintenance Workshop Engineer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
- To work with a focused team that is highly governed under our approvals.
- Ability to work unsupervised, following briefing.
- To assist the Engineering & Operations Manager in general day to day operations.
- To effectively assist in the maintenance of ground support equipment and maintain high standard of engineering hygiene
- To carry out manufacture and production of components under Part 21G & ISO 9001 approvals
- Assembly, fitting, installation, testing, inspection of components and assemblies under Part 21G and ISO 9001 approvals
- To work to Design drawings, raising Workshop/Technical Query Notices when necessary
- To support Special Projects Group (SPG) with manufacture, assembly, inspection and testing of products
- To carry out surface treatment of manufactured components i.e. Alocrom
- To carry out all tasks in accordance with approved data
