Manufacturing Project Manager needed for a multinational financial organisation based in Greater Manchester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Manufacturing Project Manager that takes pride in their work with experience within an engineering and production environment as well as a proven track record of delivery for fixed cost programs of significant value within a matrix organisation. They are after an enthusiastic pro-active and natural communicator who's able to build strong relationships with experience in driving multi-functional teams and delivering to tight time-scales.

The successful candidate must have relevant Project manager experience as well as having relevant engineering experience, ideally defense or aerospace.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Manufacturing Project Manager will include:

• Planning, facilitating and providing support to the success of large-scale contracts throughout the product life cycle.
• Provide support to the Programme Managers and Manufacturing Management Team to define, plan, direct and deliver the manufacturing projects/contracts against business plan targets through rigorous cost control and schedule adherence.
• Communicating consolidated project/programme requirements to a multi-disciplined team to safeguard deliveries.
• Manage stakeholder interfaces including internal customers and ensure accurate reporting of progress against all aspects of project performance

What experience you need to be the successful Manufacturing Project Manager:

• Experience in Project Management
• Relevant engineering experience ideally in defense or aerospace
• Must be eligible for SC UK security Clearance
