Service Technician Biogas Upgrading Plants

• Location: Home Based - Customer sites around the Staffordshire, Birmingham, Stoke area
• Candidates would be best situated in the West Midlands
• Start: ASAP
• Salary: £45,000 GROSS PA + OT
• Working Hours 07:00 to 16:00 but not limited to this
  • Other shift hours and rates apply
  • Company Pension, 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays, Company Van, all tools necessary to complete work, Company Laptop and Mobile Phone, Company Credit Card will be provided
  • Full UK Driving License required
  • The role will require travelling around the UK with overnight stays of 1 to 4 nights
• MUST HAVE WORK PERMITS FOR UK - NO VISA SPONSORSHIP

Role Description
Carry out effective maintenance services including fault finding and repairs on Water Scrubbing Biogas Upgrading Plant located at 13 sites covering Newcastle, Middlesborough, Manchester, Stoke on Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Aylesbury and Avonmouth.

*The role will require travelling around the UK with overnight stays of 1 to 4 nights (Max 13 per month
* All Training will be provided by the company in Sweden and/or UK

Duties and Responsibilities

• The role will also require travel overseas to the head office in Sweden or any other Scandinavian countries if required especially in the first few weeks.

• Planning of jobs is completed 4 weeks in advance but change at short notice
• Emergency Breakdowns will mean sudden plan changes and require overnight stays at short notice
• Overnight accommodation including breakfast and allowances will be provided when required
• Service, Maintenance and Calibration of the following Equipment:
  • Biogas Blowers, Biogas Compressors, Sensors, Water Chillers, Biogas Dryers, Biogas Filters, Water Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Air Compressors, Valves, Control Instrumentation, Flow Instrumentation.
• Produce detailed engineer service reports for clients
• Generate Monthly Expense Report for HR
• Input weekly Time Reports for approval
• Carry out daily onsite RA and Input to Safety App
• Understanding of Industry regulations
• Adhere to company policies
• Carry out Weekly Vehicle Inspections

Experience and Qualifications

• Have a Technical, Mechanical Engineering background
• Comp Ex 11 Mechanical
  • Course will be provided if certificate not already held
• Time Served Maintenance Technician
• Time Served Mobile Service Engineer,
• Working with Biogas or Bio-Methane, but not essential
