• Capable of mechanical assembly, working from drawings and engineering instructions
• Safe use of all hand and air tools
• Use of Jigs, fixtures and measuring tools on precision assemblies
• Willingness to train
• Working with support from engineering group a methodical and precise approach to ensure successful completion of production tasks on high value hardware

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Mechanical Vehicle Technician will include:

• Be able to perform assembly operations following the instructions provided.
• Adhere to quality requirements including recording required data.
• Proficient in using basic mechanical hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical way of working.
• Competence in working with computers.
• To be able to work in a team environment.
• Adaptable and open to change.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
• Full training will be given for the Production Technician with the right attitude and motivation.

What experience you need to be the successful Mechanical Vehicle Technician:

• Defence-Engineering background preferable
• Skills including the use of: Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Aurora RDS
• Scripting experience with Python, json, powershell or. yaml
