MEP Site Engineer

Role: MEP Site Engineer
Location: West London
Package: £40,000 + travel, 25 days leave + bank holidays, pension & healthcare

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a MEP Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor delivering a complex heavy civil engineering project in West London. The MEP Site Engineer will be working closely with the MEP Delivery Manager and responsible for the managing the delivery of a key phase of the project in West London.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the project management team on all matters relating to health, safety and the environment.
• Ensure the supply chain is carrying out works in accordance to the agreed processes and statutory requirements and they are meeting the set quality standards
• Identify snags and defects and agree resolutions with the relevant parties
• Work closely with the site project managers, design and engineering team and QA teams to ensure work is being delivered as expected and inline with the main programme of works
• Develop a site specific programme, in coordination with the commercial teams
• Understand the form of Contract being implements
• Keep a full and accurate daily site diary logging details of changes, variations, subcontractors attendance and records of work related discussions with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Previous experience in the delivery of mechanical or electrical systems including design, construction, testing, commissioning and handover
• A relevant qualification e.g. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong IT skills
• Live within a reasonable commute of the site in West London
