A great opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer to join the specialist division of a leading tier one main contractor based in London. They will join an infrastructure specialist who are renowned for their expertise in delivering key infrastructure projects across the UK.
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for planning projects from cradle to grave, working with the pre-construction team producing competitive tender programmes and managing the construction programmes for live projects across the region. They will work closely with the senior management team and be the go too person for all planning matters across the business unit.
The Planning Engineer will be involved on a wide range of projects from groundworks, public realms, streetworks, drainage, electrical, building, civil engineering, piling etc. This is a top opportunity for an enthusiastic and career driven individual to play a key role in the development of planning within a rapidly expanded business unit of a leading name in the UK construction industry.
The Planning Engineer will need to demonstrate a multi-disciplinary background, they will have gained exposure on a variety of projects within a main contracting background. The Planning Engineer will have 3 years plus experience, a good working knowledge of different forms of contract including JCT and NEC would be a distinct advantage and be a proficient user of Primavera P6.
Candidate
- Minimum 3 years UK planning experience
- Experience at both tender and contract stages of projects
- Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject software
- Multi-disciplinary background, exposure to civils, build, M&E projects
- Be a competent and have experience in the production of planning related documentation.
On offer is a competitive basic salary of between £55-65,000 per annum plus an attractive benefits package that includes annual car allowance £7,000, pension, healthcare, life assurance, private medical and other great benefits.
