Description -

• As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in an activity that will, from a quality assurance view, support the delivery of a new and exciting platform used to improve healthcare worldwide. You should possess an inquisitive and can-do attitude, and have the desire to deliver high-quality exciting software products.
• The ultimate aim is to play a key role in delivering a high quality, world-class software platform.
• This role requires someone highly experienced in testing, from a manual / process perspective, as well as from automation.

Responsibilities -

• Document test scenarios and test cases according to defined standards
• Work with product owners and other team members to fully understand requirements
• Peer-Review test cases
• Execute manual test cases and automated tests
• Develop automated test framework for testing
• Contribute to an automated test framework by automating tests
• Contribute to continuous improvement on the team
• Log defects
• Review documentation
• Perform exploratory testing
• Provide quality assurance feedback
• Liaise with globally distributed project teams
• Deploy code to test environments
• Monitor and assesses application logs]

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

Required:

• Excellent communication (written and oral)
• Experience writing test plans and use cases/scenarios/specifications
• 3+ years of automated test experience (API's and UI)
• Experience creating automated test framework from scratch
• Experience with defect and risk management
• Experience producing test reports
• Experience using test management tools
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide audience of technical & non-technical roles
• Skilful at estimating and at time management
• Knowledge of agile and V-model software development methodologies
• Skillful using latest Microsoft Office Applications
• Working knowledge of GIT
• Experience adding tests to CI/CD pipeline for execution
• Can organize own work and the work of others to deliver team objectives
• Experience testing in a microservice architecture

Desirable:

• ISTQB Certification
• System Test experience
• Experience working in medical device sector
• Experience with infrastructure testing
• Some exposure to Docker & Kubernetes
• Experience with Cucumber / SpecFlow
• Experience testing software that controls physical hardware and systems.
