Brief
PMO Manager needed for a highly reputable and market leading medical device organisation based in Crawley who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded PMO Manager that takes pride in their work and can drive the strategic direction and leadership of the project management resources to a LEAN-Agile mindset.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the PMO Manager will include:
Working as part of the Technology Services department you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a secure remote working solution. You will support that it remains secure and available, supporting and patching Windows servers.
What experience you need to be a successful PMO Manager:
- First or master's degree in project management discipline, engineering, physics or applicable technical/scientific discipline
- Demonstrated ability to develop manage and deliver budgets.
- Effective team building skills, organizational and staff development.
- Demonstrated aptitude for strategic thinking and the ability to implement through others.
- Can demonstrate excellent results in a technical management position
- Proven ability to problem solve and strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to speak and present publicly
- Flexible style ("do whatever it takes" approach)
- Strong in building and maintaining successful and effective working relationships with both direct reports, management peers and other colleagues within the group
- Personality based on strong ethical standard, values and good judgement
- Availability for international travel as required
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, etc.
Desirable Experience for the PMO Manager:
- Experience from a heavily regulated business environment with formal training in medical product safety desirable
- Risk management policy, principals and processes; medical sector specific knowledge is desirable, including ISO 13485, IEC 60601
- Ten or more years of successful leadership and management experience of medical product development in a management position
